The Details
On February 18, we will observe Ash Wednesday with services at Noon (no music) and 5:30 p.m. (with choir and hymns). The liturgical color is purple. During Lent, we commune with homemade bread (from a recipe used at All Saints’ Chapel in Sewanee, Tennessee). Lent is a time for introspection and reflection – 40 days to prepare ourselves for the Passion of the Christ.
